Thermofoil and Wood Cabinets:
- Fill a bucket with warm water and add a small amount of mild dish detergent.
- Dip a soft cloth or sponge into the solution and wring out excess water.
- Wipe down the cabinets with the damp cloth or sponge, being careful not to saturate the surface with water.
- Dry the cabinets thoroughly with a clean cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, Windex, or other fabricated products on the cabinets, as these can damage the finish.
- Note that water and moisture can cause damage to the cabinets and are not covered under warranty.
- Do not place heat or steam-producing appliances directly under upper cabinets, as this can affect the finish of wood doors and the seal of thermofoil doors.
Cultured Marble Counters:
- Use a soft sponge or cloth and mild soap and water to clean the counters.
- Periodically apply “Gel Gloss” to maintain luster and make cleaning easier.
- Dry the counters thoroughly with a clean cloth.
Granite/Quartz Counters:
- Clean the counters with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Dry the counters thoroughly with a clean cloth.
- Do not use Windex or ammonia-based products on the counters.
- Note that hot pans and heat-producing appliances can cause damage, so use a cutting board or protective shield under these items.
Laminate / Postform Counters:
- Use a damp cloth or sponge and mild soap to clean the counters.
- If desired, use “Countertop Magic” to enhance color richness and increase water and stain resistance.
- Avoid wetting the areas of the seams too much, as this can cause the seam to separate.
Note that countertop joints are water-resistant, not waterproof, and are not covered under warranty.
All Countertops:
- Use a cutting board instead of cutting directly on the countertop surface.
- Wipe up staining foods and liquids immediately to make cleanup easier.
- Do not expose counters or cabinets to harsh chemicals such as paint remover, turpentine, or nail polish remover, as these can damage the finish.
